Overview
Join our dynamic pest control team as a Wildlife Control Technician and become a vital part of protecting property, health, and the environment! In this role, you'll actively engage in wildlife management and control activities, utilizing your skills to resolve nuisance animal issues efficiently and humanely. Must have previous experience in wildlife control and at least a Class A nuisance wildlife control license. Responsibilities
- Conduct wildlife inspections to identify animal activity and entry points around residential, commercial, and agricultural properties
- Implement humane trapping and exclusion methods.
- Utilize pest control techniques to safely remove nuisance animals while prioritizing safety for yourself and others
- Maintain detailed records of all wildlife control activities, including inspections, treatments, and follow-up actions
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs or modifications needed to prevent animal entry or damage
- Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Assist with landscaping or agricultural tasks that support wildlife management objectives
- Communicate clearly with clients about control procedures and provide recommendations for ongoing prevention
- Follow safety guidelines rigorously during all operations to ensure personal safety and environmental compliance
Experience
- must have previous experience in wildlife control and be licensed
- Previous experience in sales, pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, agriculture, or related fields is highly desirable but not mandatory—training will be provided!
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, or land management equipment is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for safe transportation between sites
- Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions throughout the day
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members
