Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on part-time maintenance person to help care for rental properties. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys repair work, takes pride in keeping properties in good condition, and can respond professionally to routine maintenance needs.
Responsibilities
· Perform general repairs and maintenance at rental properties.
· Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and fixture repairs as needed.
· Complete routine property inspections and identify needed repairs.
· Prepare units for new tenants, including minor repairs, touch-up painting, cleaning support, and general turnover tasks.
· Maintain exterior areas as needed, including basic yard work, snow removal, gutter cleanup, and debris removal.
· Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
· Coordinate with owners, tenants, and outside contractors when repairs require additional support.
· Keep basic records of completed work, supplies used, and repairs needed.
Qualifications
· Experience with residential maintenance, handyman work, construction, or property repairs preferred.
· Ability to troubleshoot and complete common household repairs.
· A valid driver’s license.
· Must be dependable, trustworthy, organized, and able to work independently.
· Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance tasks safely.
· Good communication skills and a professional attitude when working around tenants.
CompensationPay is based on experience. Please include your work history, availability, and any relevant maintenance or repair experience when applying.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
