About the Role
VIM Tools is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join our fulfillment team. In this role, you'll accurately pick, customer orders for shipment, helping us get the right tools into the right hands, on time, every time. Schedule & Pay
- Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
- Employment type: Full-time
- Location: On-site at our East Lake Orient warehouse
What You'll Do
- Pick items from warehouse shelves and bins accurately according to pick tickets or handheld scanner instructions
- Verify order accuracy by checking quantities, part numbers, and product condition before packing
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages to a supervisor
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals
- Assist with receiving, restocking, and cycle counts as needed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Previous warehouse, picking, or order fulfillment experience is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Ability to read and follow pick tickets, labels, and basic written instructions
- Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic warehouse software (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Able to communicate clearly
- Background check will be ran
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of a shift
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (varying temperatures, noise levels)
