Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic educational environment. Responsibilities
- Implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the developmental stages of children, including literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management strategies.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of child development progress through standardized testing and observational techniques.
- Engage in active communication with parents and guardians to share insights on child welfare, progress, and classroom activities.
- Manage daily classroom routines, including toddler care, preschool activities, and early intervention strategies when needed.
- Ensure compliance with Corporate and State rules and guidelines.
- Documentation of incidents or concerns related to child safety.
- Incorporate special education techniques to support children with diverse learning needs and foster inclusive learning experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience with special education, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons focused on holistic child development including math, literacy, social-emotional skills, and physical activity.
- Ability to physically and mentally interact and react to children on the playground and/or in the classroom and attend to their needs. This includes moderate and vigorous physical activity that may requires ability to lift 35lb.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or Montessori methods is highly desirable

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
