We are seeking a polished and experienced Restaurant Manager to help lead our team and uphold the highest standards of fine dining.
Position Overview
The Restaurant Manager plays a critical role in orchestrating the guest experience, ensuring seamless service, and maintaining the elevated standards expected in a fine dining environment. This individual must be detail-oriented, service-driven, and passionate about hospitality, with a strong understanding of luxury service expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all front-of-house operations with precision and professionalism & assist BOH as needed on expo
- Lead pre-shift meetings, service execution, and post-service reviews
- Train and mentor staff in fine dining service standards, etiquette, and sequence of service as well as develop and implement training programs catered to our operational needs
- Maintain an exceptional guest experience, anticipating needs and resolving issues discreetly
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef/Director and culinary team to ensure seamless FOH/BOH communication
- Manage reservations, table flow, and VIP guest experiences
- Oversee wine service standards; collaborate with our team on pairings and staff education
- Monitor and control labor costs while maintaining service excellence
- Uphold strict cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and vendor coordination
- Available to work all holidays and weekends as well as Sunday/Monday. We are closed on Christmas.
Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of management experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants
- Strong knowledge of classic service techniques (French service, wine service, etc.)
- Experience with high-touch guest service and VIP clientele
- Solid understanding of food, wine, and beverage pairings
- Proven ability to lead, train, and inspire a professional service team
- Strong financial acumen (labor, cost control, P&L awareness)
- Experience with reservation platforms (OpenTable, Resy, etc.)
- Professional appearance and demeanor required
