Facilities Supervisor
Job Overview:
As the Facilities Maintenance Repair Technician, you will assist in responsibilities associated with overseeing the maintenance and management of all company facilities. This includes ensuring safety standards, supervising maintenance staff, managing budgets, and coordinating with vendors and contractors. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a productive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, and general repairs.
- Lead by example by actively participating in day-to-day maintenance activities.
- Ensure the facility complies with safety regulations and standards.
- Oversee the upkeep of the building’s infrastructure, including systems like heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical.
- Supervise daily operations of the facilities department.
- Quickly respond to any issues that may arise to minimize disruption to operations.
- Manage maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs and projects.
- Oversee security, cleaning, and other facility-related services.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide solutions promptly.
- Maintain records and documentation related to facilities management.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical knowledge in areas such as plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions.
- Budget management experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience as a Facilities Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of facilities management operations and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and facilities management software
