Description of role:
We have an amazing team! Our busy restaurant is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Sous Chef who is passionate about culinary arts. The ideal candidate for this position will be a natural leader and willing to work as part of the team and on the line when needed. Sous Chef will be responsible for expediting. kitchen inventory management and partnering with the Executive Chef.

Tasks:
- Ensure safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen
- Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks related to meal prep, cooking and expediting
- Monitor food costs
- Ordering
- Kitchen Organization
- Keep up with industry trends and create new recipes in collaboration with the Executive Chef/Owner
Skills and Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Culinary Arts preferred
- 3+ years' experience as a Chef in a full-service restaurant
- 2+ years' experience in a supervisory role
- Excellent communication and organization skills/Spanish helpful
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dedicated to food quality and presentation
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards
- SPANISH helpful
Work Schedule:
5-6 Days flexible- Weekends Mandatory
We open for lunch at 11:30 and kitchen closes at 9pm. midweek and 10pm weekend.
We are NOT a late night house.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
