Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electronic systems and equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and testing tools such as ohmmeters.
- Perform routine maintenance on electronic devices to prevent future failures and extend equipment lifespan.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to install, adjust, and calibrate electronic components.
- Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot issues onsite, ensuring minimal downtime for clients or internal systems.
- Assist in the installation of computer hardware, networking components, and low voltage systems in various environments.
- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately identify faults and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and inventory documentation for all serviced equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and share technical insights for continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven service technician experience working with electronic equipment in field service or repair roles for at least 5 years
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc.
- Familiarity with Oscilloscope , signal generator , etc.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams with precision.
- Experience repairing electronic components using testing devices like ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance protocols to ensure safety standards are consistently met.
- Prior exposure to working with low voltage electrical systems and understanding of electrical safety procedures. Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
