Remote: F/T Contract, 6-12+ months
To support a critical architectural milestone for our July 18th launch, we are looking for a Senior Enterprise Integration Architect.
Mandatory Profile Requirements:
- Supply Chain / Retail EDI Domain Expertise: Must have deep architectural experience with ANSI X12 EDI standards, specifically governing core supply chain transactions: 850 (Purchase Order), 856 (Advance Shipping Notice), 810 (Invoice), and 860 (Order Change).
- Canonical Data Modeling (CDM): Proven experience designing unified canonical data models and abstraction layers that translate modern web APIs / JSON structures into legacy, rigid flat-file or relational database schemas.
- Metadata-Driven Schema Registries: Strong background architecting centralized translation dictionaries or runtime data-mapping engines to eliminate hardcoded or manual database views.
- Cloud Architecture Integration (nice to have): Familiarity with building scalable data validation and integration pipelines within Azure native services.
Scope of the 2-Week Sprint Deliverables:
The architect must be capable of stepping into an ongoing, fast-paced UAT environment to partner with internal team to assess and independently execute the following:
- Map the precise data dependency boundary lines between our legacy internal engine and our new API canonical specifications.
- Draft a formal Technical Design Document (TDD) for an automated, centralized translation registry ("the mapping brain").
- Construct an automated data reconciliation and validation template that we can use to audit sample transaction data ahead of our early July milestones.
Pay: Up to $100.00 per hour
