Summary:
The Sr. HR Generalist is a key member of the HR team, primarily responsible for recruiting efforts while also supporting core HR Generalist functions. This role will contribute to onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, learning & development, HR projects, and other HR initiatives based on business needs.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities and navigating the dynamic requirements of a fast-paced, high-performing Human Resources team within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:

Partner with hiring managers to develop accurate job descriptions and support full-cycle recruiting efforts to attract top talent

Review applications, conduct phone screenings, and assess candidate qualifications against job requirements and compensation expectations.

Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and team members, both onsite and virtually, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.

Maintain internal candidate trackers and hiring logs to support accurate reporting and data integrity

Prepare and extend offers to selected candidates and coordinate onboarding activities, including first-day logistics and communication.

Provide hands-on HR support for a shift-based, hourly workforce, including attendance tracking, overtime support, and day-to-day employee relations matters

Serve as a point of contact for employee relations concerns, partnering with HR leadership to ensure a consistent and compliant resolution.

Support HR programs, initiatives, and projects as needed

Perform additional duties as required to support overall HR operations

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
Experience:
-
5+ years of HR Generalist experience (manufacturing/plant environment preferred)

3+ years of high-volume recruiting experience (manufacturing preferred)
-
Experience with HRIS systems required (experience with ADP preferred)

HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred
Skills:

Strong attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset

Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a high-volume environment

Foundational knowledge of HR practices and employment law

Ability to work under pressure, manage interruptions, and adjust priorities as needed

High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
