Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Perform standard pickup and delivery operations throughout the Atlanta area.
- Work with a helper to conduct inside pickups at school systems, ensuring products are properly loaded and secured.
- Transport equipment between the warehouse and customer locations, including inside deliveries of items that may not be palletized.
- Verify that sign-off documents accurately match the items being picked up or delivered and obtain customer signatures as required.
- Communicate and coordinate with team leads, Project Managers, and management regarding special orders, customer requests, and delivery procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to confirm the location and availability of inventory items.
- Adhere to all established logistics, warehouse, and delivery protocols, including documentation and process requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
- Maintain cleanliness and routine upkeep of assigned vehicles.
- Report mechanical issues, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
Requirements:
- Required: valid US driver's license
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam in accordance with federal regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations in last three years
- No license suspensions in last five years.
- Must pass a 7-year background check and drug screening
- High school or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience as a 26ft. straight truck driver (box truck)

Working Conditions:
- Work is performed both in the warehouse and on the road
- Regular exposure to changing temperatures and outdoor conditions
- Must be comfortable with physical labor and standing or walking for long periods
- Hours can vary to standard work hours (8 AM – 5 PM EST) or after hours (2 – 10 PM EST) due to the nature of our work and customer’s environments

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
