American Howa Kentucky, Inc. is seeking a full-time Material Handler.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid KY driver’s license or ability to obtain in 30 days
- Forklift certification
- Standup Forklift
- 2 years related experience in manufacturing environment
- Must be task-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task with accuracy
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet departmental and team members’ needs
- Ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Stock lines with raw material and empty totes. Move finished product to storage
- Loading and unloading of product from trucks, In some cases by hand.
- Scanning Materials or products for shipping
- Use of PC to create shipping documentation
- Maintain FIFO in FG and raw material
- Prep and cycle counting for inventory
- Assist, support continuous improvement and learn manufacturing processes
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Physical:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. up to 180 lbs.(with buddy system)
- Standing or sitting for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
- Bending, pushing, pulling may be required daily
- This position will primarily be inside an industrial manufacturing facility, but there may be periods required outside.
Pay Rate:
Up to $16.00 (based on experience)
Open Positions:
1st shift (2) Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (overtime may be required)
2nd shift (1) - Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm (overtime may be required)
3rd shift (2) - Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 6:30am (overtime may be required)
