Busy Restaurant and Sports Bar in Hermosa Beach seeking professional and courteous Door Host(s)
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests at entrance & provide friendly first encounter
- Checking ID’s for legal drinking age
- Keeping line organized during busy times.
- Keeping accurate head count for capacity
- Checking in reservations & seating guests
- Diffuse any situations that arise in calm and low key manner
- Assisting floor staff in service
- Close down restaurant and bring in patio tables and equipment. Also assist floor staff in closing procedures.
- Assist floor staff in entertainment requests: tv change, fireplace lighting, etc
- Restocking, cleaning and resetting the restaurant at the end of the night
Requirements:
- 21& over required with valid identification
- Legally allowed to work in the U.S.
- must be able to lift 25lbs or more
- MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY EVENINGS. The hours for this position are typically 6PM -2AM
**Tip Outs excluded from hourly. Additional $0-15/hr tips will be made on average**
