An immersive audiovisual company specializing in large-format LED displays, video walls, and digital signage for stadiums, arenas, airports, and flagship commercial venues, is seeking a highly organized and driven AV / LED Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of immersive audiovisual, LED display, and experiential technology projects.
This role serves as the central point of coordination between clients, architects, contractors, vendors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will own the project from the moment it is handed off after client intake all the way through installation, commissioning, and a fully working, signed-off display system.
What You Will Own Full project lifecycle: scope and schedule build-out, procurement and freight, site readiness, crew and crane scheduling, installation, network and system commissioning, punch list, and closeout.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple AV, large-format LED display, and experiential technology projects from kickoff through completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes, and resource plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate activities between architects, general contractors, consultants, IT teams, engineers, fabricators, and installation crews.
- Schedule and dispatch installation crews, riggers, and subcontractors, and sequence their work against the site schedule.
- Coordinate cranes, lifts, boom trucks, and rigging plans required to hoist and set large LED panels and structural frames.
- Verify that electrical service, power distribution, and circuits are installed and energized ahead of the install date, working with the electrical contractor.
- Confirm the data and network infrastructure is in place and correctly configured, including cabling, switches, IP addressing, media servers, and content playback connectivity.
- Confirm structural mounting, steel, and attachment points are ready and approved before panels arrive on site.
- Track permits, site access, lift plans, and safety requirements so no crew is idled on site.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure successful execution.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions to avoid delays or budget overruns.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, freight and staging, equipment delivery, and installation schedules.
- Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, change orders, and forecasting.
- Ensure all installations meet design specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to validate system designs and implementation plans.
- Oversee commissioning, testing, calibration, and client training, and drive the punch list to completion.
- Manage documentation, contracts, project reports, and closeout materials including as-builts and O&M manuals.
- Drive continuous process improvement to enhance project delivery efficiency and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- 3+ years of project management experience in AV integration, construction, technology, engineering, design-build, or experiential environments (large-format LED, video wall, or digital signage installation experience strongly preferred).
- Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and technical teams on active construction and job sites.
- Working understanding of electrical requirements, low-voltage systems, structural mounting, and rigging as they apply to display installations.
- Working understanding of IP networking as it relates to AV control, content distribution, and playback systems.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with project management software and collaboration tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to read construction drawings, shop drawings, and RFIs.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites for installations, site walks, and commissioning.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with audiovisual systems, LED video walls, scoreboards, jumbotrons, digital signage, or systems integration.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification. OSHA 30 a plus.
- Experience working with stadiums, arenas, airports, luxury brands, hospitality, museums, retail, or corporate environments.
- Familiarity with construction drawings, technical documentation, and installation processes.
- Experience with Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, Procore, or similar project management platforms.

Salary: $130K - $150K
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
