Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities maintenance team and ensure the optimal operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our manufacturing environment. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace by overseeing maintenance activities, managing maintenance repair procedures, and implementing proactive strategies for equipment reliability. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage facilities maintenance teams, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and according to established procedures.
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing systems, and high/low voltage equipment.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history for optimal resource allocation.
- Troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical systems repair, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC system repair, and schematics interpretation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by implementing safety protocols, conducting safety training sessions, and maintaining accurate safety records.
- Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs using effective project management techniques to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Conduct inspections using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters; interpret schematics; perform electrical system repairs; and oversee plumbing system maintenance.
- Supervise the management of facilities maintenance teams while fostering leadership development and team collaboration.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, incident reports, safety audits, and compliance records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to coordinate shutdowns or repairs with minimal impact on production.
Skills
- Proven management experience with the ability to lead diverse facilities maintenance teams effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance practices including mechanical systems repair, electrical systems troubleshooting (high voltage and low voltage), HVAC system repair, plumbing maintenance, and schematics reading.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and experience implementing safety procedures within manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes.
- Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and inventory control.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership skills combined with supervisory experience in managing facilities maintenance teams.
- Knowledge of electrical experience including working with high voltage systems; ability to use tools like ohmmeters for diagnostics.
- Strong mechanical knowledge covering HVAC systems, plumbing systems, mechanical repairs, and industrial maintenance procedures.
- Effective communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and stakeholders clearly.

Pay: $96,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
