Air Experts is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager to manage our commercial construction projects from startup through completion.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of commercial HVAC and sheet metal installation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate field crews, subcontractors, general contractors, vendors, and project schedules.
This position requires someone who can take ownership of multiple projects, identify problems early, and keep work moving while maintaining quality and controlling project costs.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial HVAC projects from award through final completion
- Review mechanical plans, specifications, submittals, contracts, and project scope
- Coordinate field manpower, equipment, materials, deliveries, and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Attend project meetings with general contractors, owners, engineers, and other trades
- Communicate project requirements and daily priorities to foremen and field personnel
- Track project budgets, labor hours, material costs, purchase orders, and change orders
- Prepare and submit RFIs, submittals, change-order proposals, and project documentation
- Coordinate equipment releases and material purchasing with vendors
- Review field conditions and help resolve coordination or installation issues
- Perform jobsite visits to verify progress, quality, safety, and schedule compliance
- Coordinate inspections, equipment startups, testing and balancing, punch-list work, and project closeout
- Maintain professional communication with customers, contractors, vendors, and employees
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC project management or similar construction management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, equipment, controls, and construction practices
- Ability to read and understand mechanical plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, labor, materials, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple active projects
- Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, Excel, and construction management software
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Able to travel to jobsites throughout the Las Vegas Valley
