Recovery Home Coordinator
BlueJay Living is seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Recovery Home Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our recovery residence. This individual will play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and recovery-focused home where residents are supported as they work toward long-term recovery and independent living.
The Recovery Home Coordinator serves as a mentor, resource, and leader within the home, helping residents remain engaged in their recovery goals while fostering a positive, respectful, and accountable community.
Responsibilities
· Build positive, supportive relationships with residents while maintaining healthy professional boundaries.
· Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the recovery home.
· Support residents in understanding and following house expectations designed to promote recovery and community living.
· Encourage resident accountability, responsibility, and progress toward individual recovery goals.
· Assist with resident orientation, move-ins, and transitions within the home.
· Help coordinate appointments, recovery meetings, house activities, and other resident needs as appropriate.
· Maintain regular communication with treatment providers, case managers, and other members of the resident’s support team, when appropriate.
· Facilitate regular house meetings and promote a positive, respectful living environment.
· Address concerns or conflicts between residents using a calm, solution-focused approach.
· Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely manner.
· Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established safety procedures.
· Help ensure the home remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
QualificationsRequired
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
· Ability to pass a criminal background check.
· Successful professional reference checks.
· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred
· Certified Peer Support Worker (CPSW) certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
· Experience working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, recovery services, community support, or supportive housing.
· Knowledge of recovery-oriented systems of care and community resources.
· CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Schedule: Full-time (some evenings, weekends, and on-call availability may be required)
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
