Position Summary
The Construction Project Coordinator reports to the General Manager and provides administrative and coordination support to MRK’s leadership and field operations to ensure timely completion of Client projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include communicating project needs with managers, field operations, vendors, contractors, and clients; maintaining records and documentation; and organizing and executing assigned tasks across multiple projects. Candidates for this role should be highly organized, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Maintain accurate records in client and internal tracking systems.
- Manage electronic project documentation and ensure timely uploads of site-specific deliverables.
- Maintain and track field operations and contractor schedules across multiple sites.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality control processes.
- Submit purchase orders to suppliers and coordinate appropriate mobilization logistics.
- Coordinate project bids, change orders, and subcontractor agreements.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field supervisors to solve technical and logistical challenges.
- Assist in tracking project costs against established budgets to help identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive operational efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure exceptional client satisfaction through proactive communication and project transparency.
- Attend meetings and provide project updates.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with OSHA, FAA, FCC, and other regulatory standards governing tower construction and wireless infrastructure.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate's degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in a construction environment, preferably in telecommunications, tower construction, utilities, or related heavy civil work.
- Experience with project administration in a contracting environment.
- CAPM certification or similar project management certifications are a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Highly organized with attention to details.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and a variety of project tasks in a given day.
- Ability to provide clear communication with internal teams, customers and vendors via emails, telephone calls, and/or text messages in a timely manner.
- Works well with diverse teams across all levels of an organization.
- Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications.
- Has an understanding of construction project phases as well as construction practices related to excavation, concrete foundations, tower stacking, and safety procedures.
- Ability to perform calculations using units of money, time, measurement, etc.
- Ability to accurately manage reports, accounts, and records.
- Ability to read and analyze documents related to contracts.
- Hiring is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, type or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Occasionally may need to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional overnight travel to market areas may be required.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
