Quality Associate – Full Time
Location: Independence Health & Therapy – Woodstock, IL

About the Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented, organized, and motivated Quality Associate to join our team. In this role, you will support the accuracy, integrity, and security of clinical records—both electronic and paper—and ensure all documentation meets medical, administrative, legal, and regulatory standards. You will also play a key part in data management, entering and managing information within our systems, identifying and correcting errors, and generating daily reporting that supports informed decision‑making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Compile, process, and maintain clinical records in accordance with internal, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage data entry, data integrity, and system updates across organizational databases.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and correct data inconsistencies or errors.
- Generate daily reports to support business insights and quality improvement.
- Collaborate with team members across departments as a resource for quality standards.
- Cross‑train in selected Front Desk tasks and serve as backup when necessary.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality using trauma‑informed principles.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of data entry experience.
- Experience with an EMR system preferred.
- Experience in a mental health setting is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Professional communication, especially written communication.
- Ability to manage competing tasks with accuracy and focus.
- Quality‑focused mindset and commitment to improvement.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of computer work and sitting.
- Frequent use of hands/fingers for typing and office equipment.
- Ability to lift 15–25 pounds occasionally (e.g., files, office supplies).
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching.
