Job Description
A small Christian school is seeking a caring, dependable, and patient Preschool / PreKindergarten Aide to support our early childhood classrooms.
The Preschool / PreKindergarten Aide will assist the classroom teacher with daily routines, student supervision, classroom activities, and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment for young children.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the classroom teacher with lessons, activities, and daily routines
- Supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Supporting children with transitions, meals, rest time, and personal care as needed
- Encouraging positive behavior and social interaction
- Communicating professionally with teachers, staff, students, and families
- Supporting the mission and values of a Christian school environment
Qualifications
- Experience in Early Childhood Education is preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must be dependable, patient, and caring
- Must enjoy working with young children
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and professional communication skills
Schedule
This position is scheduled from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM OR 7:00AM to 3:00PM dependent upon specific qualifications.
Pay: $22.33 - $26.89 per hour
Work Location: In person
