CNC Mill Machinists / CNC Lathe Machinists– 1st and 2nd Shift Openings
Millennium Machine and Tool is looking for responsible and experienced CNC Machinists to work in our expanding, innovative and diverse company in Newton, Kansas. We work with aerospace and commercial industries and employ less than 100 people with a long history of a dependable workload and never having a layoff. We are looking for men and women with some experience who are looking to grow with a rapidly growing company.
Job Description
CNC Mill Machinists – 1st and 2nd Shift Openings
- Variety of work using 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines
CNC Lathe Machinist –2nd Shift Opening
- CNC Lathe Machinist position
WORK SCHEDULES:
1st Shift Hours – Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 3:30 pm and Friday, 6:00 am – 10:00 am
2nd Shift Hours – Monday – Thursday, 3:15 pm – 1:45 am - $1.50 shift differential
Typical work week is 40-45 hours a week. Overtime is paid after 40 hours worked and available on a volunteer basis.
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED / PREFERRED
- Understand precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, setup sheets, work instructions, etc.
- Daily team communication and collaboration
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS / PREFERENCES
- Requires a strong, related work history.
- Can work well with others.
- Observes safety procedures by using equipment properly.
- Dependable attendance.
- Follows instructions.
EDUCATION / TRAINING REQUIRED / PREFERRED
- One to three years of experience operating CNC equipment.
- High school degree or equivalent

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
