Label Aid is a leading flexographic and digital printing company specializing in high-quality labels, tags, and tape solutions for a diverse range of industries, including food and beverage, industrial, automotive, home and garden, horticulture, personal care, and nutraceuticals.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Flexographic Press Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality products that consistently meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate flexographic presses based on job tickets and production schedules
- Ensure correct materials are used, including cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers
- Perform press-side quality checks (color, copy, registration, ink adhesion, and overall specifications)
- Maintain consistent quality while minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency
- Clean and maintain press equipment, including plates, cylinders, and ink systems
- Keep work area clean and safe through daily housekeeping
- Work closely with team members and communicate any issues or delays promptly
- Assist with training and cross-training as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience operating flexographic presses or similar printing equipment preferred
- Strong knowledge of press operation, inks, substrates, and color matching
- Ability to read job tickets, work orders, and production schedules
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and basic math/computer skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift
- High school diploma or equivalent required
