Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Delivery Service Technicians to provide exceptional appliance delivery, setup, and maintenance services. Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer homes or commercial sites
- Unload appliances carefully using power tools and manual handling techniques, ensuring no damage occurs during transit or installation
- Install, assemble, and set up appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, HVAC units, and other mechanical equipment following schematics and technical instructions
- Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on appliances using mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and plumbing skills as needed
- Use ladder work and hand tools to access installation points or repair areas in customers’ homes or facilities
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain appliance features, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction throughout the delivery process
- Complete detailed service reports, delivery logs, and maintenance documentation accurately for each job performed
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or field service professional specializing in appliance repair or equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and ladder logic used in appliance troubleshooting
- Hands-on knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC units, plumbing connections, and mechanical repairs
- Experience operating power tools safely and efficiently in residential or commercial settings
- Customer service background with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Delivery driver experience with a clean driving record and proficiency operating box trucks or similar vehicles
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), equipment repair, assembly processes, and safety protocols in field service environments
Pay: $1,400.00 per week
