Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest requests and special cleaning projects
- Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services
- Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and promote a team-oriented atmosphere
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning practices
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling, inventory management, etc.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and regulations
