Duties
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move inventory safely and efficiently
- Manage warehouse distribution tasks including stock replenishment, order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving processes
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, process orders, and update records accurately
- Perform order fulfillment by selecting items with precision using order pickers and RF scanners, ensuring timely delivery
- Stock shelves systematically and maintain organized storage areas to optimize space and accessibility
- Assist in packaging products securely for shipment, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols
- Support warehouse operations through basic math calculations for inventory counts, order quantities, and shipment weights
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform basic math accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy items regularly and stand or walk for extended periods
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
