Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as a Smoothie Prep & Salad Bar Line Person, where your energy and culinary skills will help create fresh, nutritious, and visually appealing smoothies and salads for our valued customers. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assembling delicious menu items, maintaining a clean and organized work station, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to a positive dining experience that keeps customers coming back for more!
Duties
- Prepare fresh fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients for smoothies and salads according to established recipes and menu standards
- Assemble smoothies and salads efficiently while maintaining high quality and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the prep area, equipment, and utensils in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination
- Support team members during busy hours by providing timely assistance in food preparation and service
Skills
- Previous experience in food service environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills and meal assembly
- Experience with cooking, food handling, and maintaining food safety standards in a restaurant or catering setting
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak times
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment use and maintenance is beneficial
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a lively, positive attitude
