Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling, inspecting, and packaging medical devices in a controlled environment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, familiarity with cleanroom procedures, and experience working with precision tools. Responsibilities
- Assemble medical components and devices following detailed work instructions and specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify component dimensions.
- Conduct soldering, plastics injection molding, and other assembly tasks adhering to strict quality standards.
- Operate hand tools safely and efficiently within a cleanroom environment to maintain product integrity.
- Perform quality inspections in accordance with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations, documenting findings accurately.
- Assist with packaging and labeling of finished products in compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.
- Support process improvements by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve assembly issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of production activities, inspections, and deviations for regulatory audits.
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing or medical device assembly is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards, FDA regulations, and CGMP practices.
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.
- Mechanical knowledge related to plastics injection molding, soldering, and hand tool operation.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including assembly, packaging, and quality inspection.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions meticulously while maintaining high attention to detail.
