Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, creative, reliable and detail-oriented Cookie Decorator to join our growing bakery team! The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with royal icing , a passion for sugar cookies and all things bakery, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decorate cookies using royal icing techniques, including smooth finishes, borders, writing (with a projector).
- Execute custom designs while maintaining consistency and quality standards
- Assist with daily bakery operations as needed, including prep, organization, and cleanup
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines in a high-volume production environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
Qualifications:
- Prior professional experience in decorating (royal icing prefered but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to follow design instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting bakery items during shifts
