Job Summary
We are looking for someone who can learn the installation process for our decorative concrete edging, learn the process as part of our crew and then become a crew lead as we can expand our business. Pay will increase quickly for someone who can learn how to extrude. Hourly pay depends on experience.
PLEASE do NOT apply if you have no experience working outdoors on a daily basis in construction, roofing, lawn or other similar fields.
Education is not a concern, but you must be fluent in English and able to interact professionally with our clients. We specialize in decorative concrete edging, which is a zero slump product that is different from standard concrete work. My crew lead has been with us for 13 years and I treat my employees like a person, not a number. This is a physical job that requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs regularly.

We will be inviting select candidates for a partial day of paid training to see how well they can run the equipment. There is currently planned for Saturday June 27th at 8 am, so please let me know if you are available or not that day.
Required Abilities
- Must be fluent in English and able to professionally interact with customers
- Able to quickly learn how to run an extruder (see video)
- Able to judge moisture content for zero slump concrete
- Troweling and finishing the concrete edging (see video)
- Working motorized wheel barrow and mixer
- Able to run a front loader to load trailer
- Attention to detail

Responsibilities
- Mix portland, sand and integral color to specifications then shovel into extruder.
- Extrude and finish our decorative concrete edging, ensuring precise edge details and a high-quality finish.
- Ability to train to lead a crew of their own.
- Set up equipment, prepare bed, and measure layout for decorative edging; pour, finish, and texture edges to specification.
- Operate hand and power tools, concrete mixers, and edging installation as required.
- Monitor safety protocols, maintain equipment, and coordinate tasks with the crew to meet project timelines.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
