Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and customer-focused office and showroom host to join our flooring and remodeling team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, coordinating projects, and being part of a showroom environment. The office and showroom host will provide day-to-day administrative and customer service support while helping clients navigate their flooring and remodeling needs. Responsibilities may include greeting customers, answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments and installations, maintaining customer records, preparing estimates and invoices, coordinating with vendors and installers, organizing product samples, and assisting with showroom operations.
Duties
- Perform general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
- Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately.
- Assist with office management tasks including scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.
- Utilize computer systems for data entry and document preparation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment to enhance productivity.
- Keeping track of accounts and bills as needed
- Welcoming clients in the show room and directing them the best you can to the products right for them.
Requirements
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including knowledge of office software applications.
- Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Experience in office management or administrative roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in flooring, remodeling, construction, interior design, or a related industry is a plus.
