R. Pepin and Sons, Inc. is looking for a loader operator to work in Sanford, Maine. Applicants should have at least 2 years' experience operating a loader. Operators will use a Front-End-Loader to feed a crushing and screening plant. They will also load dump trucks and trailer dumps. Experience in a quarry or gravel pit is not required but those with this experience will be considered first.
This employee may run also run an excavator in time as well depending on ability.
This job requires between 45-55 hrs. per week (mostly M-F only) for 10 months out of the year. In January, February expect to work closer to 40 hours per week. Operators who want to assist with plowing local parking lots with a loader, or pick up truck, will have opportunity to get more overtime in winter months. A winter layoff is also optional.
Pay will range between $30-$36/hr. depending on former experience.
