7am-3pm Fast paced, lots of eggs bacon and black cherry pancakes to visitors and many local TC faces. You will be walking 13,000 steps and serving $1500.00 in comfort food. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Clover POS ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed to support kitchen operations during busy periods
- Provide knowledgeable wine, spirits, and cocktail recommendations to elevate guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service roles within restaurants or the food industry, especially fine dining environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to connect with diverse guests
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items such as beverages, desserts, or specials to maximize sales opportunities
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising service quality
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing tabs efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
