Light Duty Mechanic

Duties and Responsibilities: Primary duties of this role consists of assisting in maintaining and repairing company vehicles and equipment, diagnosing mechanical issues, managing parts inventory, and keeping the shop maintained.
- Repair & maintain equipment as needed
- Send parts out for repair as needed and order parts and materials for shop
- Maintain clean shop
- Conducting preventative maintenance repairs
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical aptitude, demonstrated past problem solving, tool usage, and repair experience required
- At least 5 years of automotive or diesel experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent required, vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
- MUST have a valid driver’s license.
- Basic computer skills required for data entry into maintenance systems.
