We are hiring a full-time Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the children, families, and staff we serve. This role supports daily operations by keeping therapy rooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas clean, organized, and ready for use.
Position Summary
The Custodian is responsible for routine cleaning and sanitation throughout the facility, including therapy rooms, classrooms, offices, restrooms, and shared spaces. This position also assists with basic facility upkeep and monitoring cleaning supplies to help ensure the center remains well maintained and fully operational each day.
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an active healthcare and educational environment serving children and families.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility environment
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, therapy rooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces throughout the facility
- Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and hygiene materials
- Support setup and cleanup for therapy spaces, meetings, or special events
- Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Help maintain a welcoming and professional environment for staff and families
