We are looking for an energetic, caring, and dependable Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) who loves working with children and wants to be part of an upbeat, supportive team.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment.
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Take high-quality dental radiographs.
- Place sealants, coronal polish, and perform all duties permitted under Florida EFDA certification.
- Accurately document treatment using our electronic dental records system.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions.
- Maintain strict infection control and OSHA protocols.
- Help create a welcoming, positive, and child-friendly environment.
- Work closely with doctors and teammates to ensure efficient patient flow.
Qualifications
- Current Florida EFDA certification required
- Current radiography certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Pediatric dental experience is preferred but not required
