**Job Summary** We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our educational team.
The ideal candidate will provide support to our students and teachers, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the classroom teacher to facilitate learning, promote student engagement, and ensure that every child receives the care and attention they need to thrive.
**Duties** - Assist the classroom teacher in lesson planning, preparation, and implementation. - Provide individualized support to students, tailoring instruction to meet their unique needs and abilities. - Engage with students in activities that promote social-emotional development, creativity, and critical thinking. - Monitor student behavior and implement strategies for managing classroom dynamics. - Develop and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment that fosters a love of learning. - Collaborate with the teacher and other staff to ensure seamless communication and support.
**Skills** - Experience working with students of varying ages and abilities. - Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create a safe and engaging environment. - Effective behavior management strategies to promote positive student behavior. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents. - Music or art skills a plus. - Babysitting experience or relevant childcare experience a plus. - Russian-speaking a plus.
