Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows on residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets quality standards, safety protocols, and client specifications. Responsibilities
- Measure window openings accurately using dimensional measurement tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Handle glass materials carefully during transportation, fabrication, and installation to prevent damage.
- Install windows, doors, and related fixtures following blueprint specifications and safety guidelines.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, framing, caulking, trimming, and assembly tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting of glass materials and window units safely while maintaining proper posture and technique.
- Conduct quality control checks on measurements, installation fitment, and finish details to meet project standards.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with window installation.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, caulking guns, and measuring devices; familiarity with power tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces safely.
- Strong carpentry skills including trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards; experience with construction painting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with schematics related to metal framing or fixture layouts; handyman experience is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail for measurement accuracy (quality control) and adherence to construction plans.
- Valid construction site experience with a focus on glass materials handling and installation processes.
