Big Saver Foods is a family-owned retail grocery chain established in 1977, we offer a full assortment of fresh meat, farm-fresh produce, and many stores feature artisan bakeries, tortillerias, and delicious hot foods.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble wood products according to specifications
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth wood
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate measurements and cuts
- Install hardware, such as hinges and handles, on finished products
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
What You Will Build:
-Custom store fixtures and displays
-Retail shelving and merchandise fixtures
-Cabinetry and millwork
-Signage and display systems
-Prototype fixtures and one of a kind projects
Qualifications:
- Experience as a carpenter or woodworker required with hardwood, plywood, aluminum, acrylic/plexiglass, laminates.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor
- Knowledge of construction painting, metal stud framing, mold remediation, plumbing, electrical work, siding, and roofing is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
