American Traveler is hiring a Neuro ICU RN with strong critical care experience and an active MA RN license for a 13-week assignment.
-
Neuroscience ICU setting caring for critically ill adult patients with neurotrauma, status epilepticus, stroke, spinal cord injury, and complex comorbidities
-
24-bed unit with an average census of 22
-
Clinician to patient ratio of 1:2
-
36 hours per week on a rotating day/night shift schedule
-
Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Uses Epic charting system
-
Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)

BLS certification required (AHA only)

Minimum 2 years of strong critical care experience required

Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
-
Neuro critical care nursing experience preferred
-
Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date

Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
-
Provide critical care nursing to adult patients with complex neurological diagnoses and multisystem organ involvement

Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of the facility at a reduced rate

RTO must be identified prior to consideration

Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
