We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at one of our apartment communities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Property Management company and play a key role in delivering high-quality resident service.
This position blends hands-on technical work with operational oversight and requires a leader who is organized, service-driven, and open to working within modern property management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance operations and apartment make-readies
- Lead and perform work across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
- Coordinate vendors and manage electronic purchase orders
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date unit turn status through the make-ready board
Technology & Systems
- Approximately 25% of the role involves administrative work at a computer
- Use of company software systems for procurement and unit tracking is required
- Utilize a mobile app to manage work orders and inspections, including real-time documentation with notes, photos, and videos
- No prior experience with these systems is required; training will be provided. However, candidates must be willing and able to learn and use technology consistently as part of daily operations
- Previous experience with property management or maintenance software is a plus for supervisory candidates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of maintenance experience (multi-family preferred)
- Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to quality work and efficient operations
A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
