About the Role
This is an opportunity to build a long-term career in commercial painting, waterproofing, and restoration. McLeod's Construction, Paint & Restoration is seeking a driven, personable individual to join our sales and estimating team.
While construction or sales experience is beneficial, we are willing to train the right candidate on our systems, services, estimating processes, and client management approach. What you bring is professionalism, strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to build relationships with clients.
As a Sales Estimator, you will work directly alongside experienced leadership to learn project evaluation, estimating, proposal development, and client relationship management. Over time, you will become responsible for independently managing estimates and customer accounts throughout Southwest Florida.
What You Will Be Doing
- Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand project needs and develop solutions
- Conduct site visits to gather project information and assess existing conditions
- Learn to prepare detailed estimates, scopes of work, and project proposals
- Follow up on leads, proposals, and client inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records and daily updates within our CRM system
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility managers, contractors, and business owners
- Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Assist with presentations, proposal preparation, and sales follow-up activities
- Support business development efforts and help grow company revenue

Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic computer applications
- CRM experience is a plus but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Construction, sales, property management, or customer service experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be located in Lee or Collier County

Compensation
$75,000 - $85,000.00 annually, based on experience
