Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
- Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation.
- Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.
- Assist with concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, roofing, siding, stucco application, and water damage restoration projects.
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks such as material handling, scaffolding setup, and site cleanup to maintain a safe work environment.
- Support remodeling projects by installing flooring, tiles, cabinetry, electrical fixtures, plumbing components, and performing general carpentry repairs.
- Follow safety protocols including power tool safety practices; ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Read and interpret construction plans and schematics to ensure accurate project execution.
- Collaborate with team members on-site to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry or related trades.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for woodworking and general construction tasks.
- Knowledge of wood construction materials such as framing lumber, plywood, siding materials, and trim components.
- Experience with residential carpentry including door hanging, fixture installation, cabinetry, flooring installation, and remodeling projects.
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures including power tool safety protocols.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
- Basic understanding of schematics related to electrical or plumbing systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to interpret technical drawings effectively.
- Valid driver’s license preferred; previous experience in restoration industry or working on water damage remediation is advantageous.

Pay: $29.00 - $45.00 per hour
