We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. This is a hands-on position for a professional with strong manufacturing accounting experience and extensive knowledge of Sage 100 ERP.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete accounting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee full-cycle Accounts Receivable (A/R), including invoicing, collections, cash application, and customer account reconciliations.
- Supervise full-cycle Accounts Payable (A/P), including invoice processing, approvals, vendor payments, and vendor account reconciliations.
- Manage daily cash receipts, bank deposits, and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Execute weekly check runs and electronic vendor payments.
- Record and reconcile payroll transactions using ADP payroll reports.
- Maintain the General Ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including:
- Profit & Loss Statement
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow Statement
- Manage inventory accounting, inventory valuation, and product costing within Sage 100.
- Ensure accurate inventory transactions, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing costing.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and monthly reporting with Oliva Torras headquarters in Spain.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
- Support external auditors, tax advisors, and annual financial reviews.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital.
- Develop and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Partner with operations, purchasing, sales, and management to provide financial support for business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Sage 100 ERP
- Strong knowledge of:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll Accounting
- Inventory Accounting
- Cost Accounting
- Experience with month-end and year-end close.
- Experience preparing financial statements.
- Experience with inventory valuation and manufacturing costing.
- Experience using ADP Payroll.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

- CPA or CPA candidate.
- Experience in manufacturing or automotive industries.
- Experience working with international companies.
- Experience with intercompany accounting.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
