MIG Welder Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication. The MIG Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on a variety of materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. We primarily work on vehicle exhaust systems and light equipment repair.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on various materials
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
- Fabricate vehicle exhaust systems
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Have a valid driver's license
- Know how to properly lift Vehicles using Vehicle lift
- Proven experience in MIG welding; additional skills in TIG welding, FCAW, or stick welding are a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience with fabrication techniques and basic math skills for measurements.
- Knowledge of using various tools including plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
