Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and experienced Irrigation Technicians to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for commercial properties. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and able to troubleshoot issues in the field.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems (sprinklers, valves, controllers, drip systems).
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform necessary repairs promptly.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot leaks, pressure issues, and electrical problems.
- Adjust sprinkler heads and timers for optimal coverage and water efficiency.
- Perform seasonal system start-ups, shut-downs, and maintenance.
- Read blueprints or irrigation plans (preferred).
- Ensure proper water usage and compliance with local regulations.
- Operate tools and equipment safely.
- Communicate job updates with supervisor and team.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems and related equipment.
- Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and plant identification to support healthy landscapes.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, valves, and timers
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
