The engineering technician supports with calibration and maintenance of equipment for the manufacturing of devices capable of delivering Class III implantable Neuromodulation system for pain management.
Essential Functions:
Manage test equipment calibration at suppliers and Nevro manufacturing site with calibration lab.
Coordinate shipping logistics, process shipping documentation, package, and ship calibrated equipment to suppliers and Nevro manufacturing site.
Procure new replacement test equipment and manage calibration activities as needed.
Conduct and document Nevro in-house calibration activities on Nevro equipment.
Maintain ETQ calibration system for Nevro equipment calibration and maintenance records.
Install/Build/Modify, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair process equipment, tooling/fixtures (assembly, holding fixture/ jig) and/or test equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings, datasheets, schematics, and BOMs.
Process engineering change orders (CHOs) for updates to product/ label specs, BOMs, MPIs, and work instructions.
Organize received packages in the mail room and the Failure Analysis lab.
Manage equipment maintenance of Post Market Quality Failure Analysis Equipment
Decontaminate product complaint return - bleach treatment and disposal of biohazardous waste.
Pack and document the field returned goods for which investigation was completed, for storage.
Assist quality/test engineers in product complaint investigations as required:
Using Automated Test Equipment and instruments like Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, power supplies, frequency generators, etc. to recreate problems and determine the root cause of product malfunctions.
Capturing/documenting test results in an organized manner.
Adapting or refining test procedures to properly investigate customer complaints.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
A.S. or higher in a technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial)
Experience in the Medical Device industry a plus.
Equivalent years of experience may substitute for the education requirement
Self-directed. Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
Good interpersonal and technical writing skills.
Use of lab equipment and/or handheld tools (MultiMeter, Drill, Solder, Crimper, Calipers, etc)
Some CAD (Solidworks) experience to help design simple fixtures/tooling and update drawings, a plus.
Can work independently in a team environment.
