Duties
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to identify suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct patrols around the facility to deter theft, vandalism, and other unlawful activities while ensuring safety protocols are upheld.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and calmness, de-escalating disputes and maintaining order.
- Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance during medical emergencies.
- Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incident reports, and surveillance records to ensure accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, loss prevention strategies, and conflict management skills.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held.
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts while standing or walking for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to respond clearly under pressure.
- Familiarity with security protocols and procedures relevant to the industry or environment.
