Position Summary
As a Vocational Evaluation Specialist, you'll independently manage client evaluations from start to finish while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct in-person vocational evaluations throughout the Daytona Beach area
- Interview clients and gather vocational information
- Administer and interpret vocational assessment tools
- Prepare comprehensive, well-organized written evaluation reports
- Review and approve reports completed by Vocational Evaluator Assistants
- Maintain timely documentation and meet report deadlines
- Communicate professionally with referral sources, clients, and the LOGVC team
- Protect confidential client information in accordance with professional standards

Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Preferred Credentials
Current certification as:
- Professional Vocational Evaluator (PVE)
- Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE)
- American Board of Vocational Experts Diplomate (ABVE/D) or Fellow (ABVE/F)
- International Psychometric Evaluation Certification (IPEC)
- Vocational Evaluator Certificate from an accredited college or university
OR
Education
Master's Degree in Vocational Evaluation
OR
Related Degree and Experience
Master's degree in:
- Rehabilitation Counseling
- Rehabilitation Services
- Clinical Social Work
- Mental Health Counseling
- Clinical Psychology
PLUS
- Minimum one year of full-time experience using vocational rehabilitation counseling techniques
- Minimum one year of experience conducting vocational evaluations
Compensation
- Independent Contractor (1099)
- $340 per completed evaluation report
- Flexible scheduling

Additional Requirements
- Successful completion of Level 2 Background Screening
- Reliable transportation to travel within the Daytona Beach area
- Ability to manage workload independently and meet established deadlines
