Experienced Expert Account Manager for Digital Marketing Agency
Remote | $4,000/month starting compensation
We're looking for an experienced agency account manager who has successfully managed a large book of business and can own client relationships from onboarding through retention and growth.
This is not an entry-level marketing role.
You should already have experience managing multiple digital marketing clients, leading strategy conversations, coordinating fulfillment teams, and helping clients achieve measurable business outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
- Lead client onboarding, recurring meetings, and strategy reviews
- Manage a portfolio of digital marketing accounts
- Coordinate work across SEO, Paid Ads, Content, and Web teams
- Keep projects moving and ensure commitments are delivered on time
- Identify growth opportunities and help improve client retention
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years managing client accounts inside a digital marketing agency
- Experience managing at least $40,000+ monthly recurring revenue (MRR) across multiple clients
- Strong communication and meeting leadership skills
- Excellent organization and project management abilities
- Comfortable holding team members accountable to deadlines
- Proven track record of retaining and growing client accounts
Compensation
- Starting compensation: $4,000/month and can grow to $10,000/month
- Performance-based advancement opportunities
- Additional compensation available as responsibilities and managed revenue increase
