Are you the one who takes over the room?
When a party starts to feel a little stale, are you the one cracking the jokes, keeping the energy up, and making sure everyone is having a blast? If you love the spotlight and know how to command a crowd, we want to talk to you.
Game Show Boston — part of the Rob Peters Entertainment family — is expanding, and we are looking for several energetic, outgoing individuals to join our crew as Weekly Trivia Hosts and Event Game Show Hosts. This is a year-round opportunity with consistent bookings available across bars, restaurants, and corporate events throughout the Greater Boston and Providence areas.
Who we are looking for
We are not just looking for "help." We are looking for the next generation of entertainers — people who understand that their performance is the product. Whether you are a teacher looking for a fun side hustle, a college student with a massive personality, a comedian, an actor, or a professional DJ looking to fill your calendar, this is the gig you have been waiting for.
Think Drew Carey. Think Pat Sajak. Think the person in every room who everybody remembers at the end of the night. That is who we want hosting our shows.
"You are not just reading questions off a screen. You are the CEO of the room for two hours. Your job is to lead the energy, manage the vibe, and make sure every guest leaves feeling like they just won the lottery."
— Rob Peters, Founder

How to apply
Submit your application through Indeed along with a current resume and a brief cover letter. In your cover letter, tell us a little about yourself, why this opportunity excites you, and why you feel you would be a great fit as a Game Show Boston host. There is no formal template — write it in your own voice. We are looking for personality on the page just as much as we are looking for it on the stage.
We also encourage you to tell us about a time you owned a room — on stage, in a classroom, at an event, or anywhere else. If you have video of yourself hosting, performing, or presenting, include a link. We would love to see you in action.
We review applications on a rolling basis and are looking to bring on multiple hosts as quickly as possible. Qualified candidates will be contacted for an informal introductory conversation and, where appropriate, a short audition-style call or in-person meeting.
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
